I'm sitting in the back of my own car being driven to Manchester by my friend Cath the drummer. In the passenger seat is Mia Vigar. We are all off to the BBC to play a 6 music session for Mark Riley. It's Mia's gig really but me and Cath are playing with her. We just saw a farm house in the middle of two lanes on the M62. According to Cath the farmer refused to move when the road was being built.
